Apple is going to release a new iPhone feature (and probably the iPad and Mac) to help you invite people to party and other events, according to a new report, as part of a rebuilding of the Apple Calendar application. And he comes soon, for workers to try, it seems.

A new app could come to the iPhone soon.

“As early as next week, Apple plans to introduce a new iCloud -based service called” Confetti “internally. As the Code Festive Name indicates, the service offers a new way to invite people to party, functions and meetings” , according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his last Power in the newsletter.

Note that Gurman is referred to it as a service, so it is likely that it will not be an autonomous application, but an enhanced part of the calendar app or IMessage, maybe.

“For years, Apple has been seeking to renew the application of the calendar – and this new initiative could be the beginning of a broader effort. The liberation is linked to iOS 18.3, which has just begun to release last Monday,” continues the Gurman.

This beats with a report from 9TO5MAC In January referring to something called invitations, discovered in the iOS 18.3 Code, which “suggests that the invitation application will be incorporated into iCloud and even have a web version iCloud.com. The new application is also incorporated with a new Daemon iOS 18 called Groupkit, which manages database models for human groups. This demon was present from the first version of iOS 18.0 and has not been used by Apple applications so far. ”

It seems that it will work by showing a list of the people invited to this event and who have confirmed their participation. It could be that “Apple plans to incorporate it with other parts of the system (such as a mini imessage app). Probably the app will have a more fun interface than the calendar app provides to invite someone to An event, “the 9to5Mac continues.

What is more interesting is that Apple has never fallen on the slightest hint that it works in this update, which could mean it will not appear. But Gurman’s belief is that it may be just a few days away from workers’ tests, which could mean that public liberation will follow soon after. More details that appear.
