The new Mmersity 3D app by Leia is free.
Leia Inc., the company known for Lightfield’s appearances and the popular Leiapix platform, launched a new consumer application called Immersion For mobile, now available for free on iOS and Android. Using the AI to convert flat photos into dynamic, shared video clips, the application offers everyday users a simple way to create impressive media without specialized material or processing experience.
Built on Leia’s privately owned nervous depth engine, application analyzes are still images and apply natural depth and simulated movements, zoom and at the same time – drawing short video wheels that feel the user has entered the stage. “Our goal was to create an application that is easy to download, intuitive to use and strong enough to help anyone lift everyday photos to emotionally attractive, dynamic content,” said David Fattal, founder and CTO of Leia Inc.
Users can upload up to five photos at a time and turn them into what Leia calls a “sinking cylinder”, suitable for sharing on social platforms. A small watermark occurs in the free version, which is rendered through light ads that appear during performance.
The launch marks a significant development for the efforts faced by Leia consumers. Until recently, the company’s web application, Leiapix, had mainly served 3D artists and advanced XR users who wish to convert stereoscopic or 2D content into 3D for use on specialized devices. But with ImmersionLeia expands its scope and redefines its offer suite.
Fabio Esposito, new CEO of Leia, Inc., the leading 3D PCS and tablet provider.
“We introduced the immersion in May 2024 as a platform that includes both the immersion for the web (Leiapix replacement) and the mobile range,” said CEO Fabio Esposito. “With Rebrand, we focus on what really matters: the impressive experience, which is agnostic in the type of media used.”
While the Web application supports the conversion and export of videos to resolutions of up to 4K, the mobile app is strictly focused on immovable images. Fattal says there are no plans to bring a video to the mobile: “What he does is a different case of use.

Divide in cases of use reflects the broader strategy of Leia’s software after the acquisition of Dutch Dimenco in the Netherlands. The merged company is now focusing on providing a full stack platform that extends to both AI software and the next “3D-Ready”.
“From acquisition, Leia successfully incorporated both technologies into a single platform,” Esposito explained. “Our software works on all devices, from today’s installed base to new material such as the Red Magic 3D Explorer. The vision is simple: each device should have a sink.”
Although most consumers will experience sinking content on phones or laptops, Leia bets that demand for depth will eventually reshape the way it creates and consumed digital means. As Esposito put it, “we believe that the sinking will become as standard as the touch is today.”
