Taylor, a former world champion at Junior Welterweight, may be in the latest GASP state as it is about the world title. He lost unanimous decisions about Jack Cattel and Teofimo Lopez and is now looking to find some success in a new weight category.
“In 140, what else was left for me to do?” Taylor rhetorically asked the final event in front of the race. “I had finished boxing. Somehow somehow, you know. I had won every boxing zone in boxing you can earn. What else was there for me to do in terms of challenges and set goals and new goals?
While Taylor was heard focused and determined to dismantle any thoughts that could be washed, Essuman, the oldest-but less complete-dude, remained gentle and even throughout the press.
Essuman had said by a journalist: “You are now in the deep blue sea with Josh Taylor here, a former unquestionable champion, says he will take you on Saturday.
Essuman responded calmly: “And?
There seems to be no bad blood between the two fighters and the draw here is more to find out what Taylor has left in the tank.
“Yes, listen, shoot in rollers in the gym,” Taylor assured. “And on Saturday, I’ll put a good performance and Ekow’s attitude on my way, stand on his way. We’ll put a good fight, but I have absolutely no doubts that I am on top on Saturday and go back to big battles again.”
The Co-Main Event will see McGregor trying to get “0” from the talented Nathaniel Collins and we will also see promising heavyweight artist Ko Moses Itauma in what could be his toughest test against Mike Balogun.
Be cautious about results and complete scores for co-owners and main events.
