The defensive treatment of Philadelphia Eagles Jalen Carter #98, seeing here rushing Matthew Stafford #9 of … [+]
You could say that Philadelphia’s eagles have a sick team, but in this case not in a good way. Eagles striker Lane Johnson told The THE Philadelphia That four to five of his teammates fought either the flu or the flu. This includes the defensive treatment of the Pro Bowl Jalen Carter who lost practice on Wednesday as a result, but returned on Thursday. Now, the big question is how many of the Eagles players will be fully ready to play on Sunday, which is the event that is when the Eagles will do something important to them. They will take over the leaders of Kansas City in New Orleans for Super Bowl Lix.
Well, the answer depends on whether each of the players had the flu or not. Some other pathogenic factors such as adenoviruses and respiratory signs can cause influenza -like diseases. The only way to say if you really have the flu is to try. Then check a sample of fluid from your nose or neck either for specific proteins found on the surface of influenza viruses (antigen tests) or genetic material from influence viruses (molecular tests.)
Those who had actually been infected with A or B influenza virus have passed at least part of the following formal timetable for the influenza:
- Incubation period: This is the time from exposure to the virus to the right before the person becomes contagious. This average lasts two days, but can range from one to four days. During this time, the virus enters the cells of a person’s respiratory system and then obtains cell machines to make many, many, many copies of themselves.
- Infectious period: After all these copies of the virus are manufactured, they eventually break out of the cells of the respiratory system, which then begin the infectious period. Then the person is contagious, capable of transmitting the virus to others. This infectious period can last up to a week.
- Symptomatic period: This happens when the person has symptoms of influenza and overlaps with the infectious period. Common symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, chills, fatigue and feeling that they are running down. The symptomatic period tends to last from three to seven days.
- Recovery period: This happens when the person is no longer contagious and no longer has severe symptoms. However, some symptoms may remain. For example, the person may not have the same level of energy, which would be important for Super Bowl. The recovery period could be expanded for as long as a week so that the person does not feel enough up to two weeks after the symptoms begin.
Now, there are cases where the flu symptoms are so severe that the person should be hospitalized. In fact, the flu could even reach the point of being life -threatening. This is much more likely in people with a weaker immune system such as young children, adults over 65 years of age and people with chronic medical conditions. Eventually I did not check either of the eagles being young children or over 65 years. But this does not mean that young healthy adults are completely immune to the bad effects of influenza.
So the flu is not like the common cold. Even if you don’t get sick at the point of being hospitalized, it can hit you like a Khalil Mack truck. Therefore, it is likely that the influenza virus will end up playing a central role in the Super Bowl Lix.
With the US at the moment it is beating in the middle of the influenza era, both the eagles and the leaders would be wise to take the right precautions. Some members of the Eagles organization wore face masks and not the kind that is usually in front of football helmets.
