Manchester, England – 06 February: Derek Chisora goes to the head with Otto Wallin as a promoter … [+]
The British heavyweight legend Derek “War” Chisora (35-23, 23 kos) will climb the ring on Saturday at Co-op Live Arena in Manchester to face Otto Wallin (27-2, 15 kos).
There is no tone of high level boxing that is happening this weekend, so Chisora-Wallin will have to be in the center. See how you can watch:
- Date: Saturday 8 February
- Time: 2 pm
- Location: Co-op Live Arena, Manchester
- TV/flow: Azon
The match is called The last danceReferring to Chisora’s career, though it seems that the veteran would like to fight once again after the Wallin period so he can reach 50 professional scraps.

In addition to the importance for Chisora’s career, the race has some competitive consequences. The IBF has upgraded the race to an elimination, so the winner will see the ranking jump with the administration. Coming to the race, Chisora ranks 8th with IBF and Wallin is No. 10.
Last time, 41 -year -old Chisora won a unanimous decision for Joe Joyce in July 2024. Taking into account his age, it was a striking performance and helped create the race with Wallin.

In Wallin’s last match, he scored a win of the first round KO over Onoriode Ehwarieme in July 2024. The victory was a necessary victory for Wallin, who had stopped by Anthony Joshua in his previous match.
From a stylistic point of view, Chisora will try to make the struggle a rough in the battle. Wallin does not normally avoid this kind of race, so it will be interesting to see if this game is playing with Chisora.
If there is nothing else, the races to be fun and will tell us if Chisora should think about a 50th race – and if so, who should fit.
As we look at the rest of the world boxing program in Spring, here is what fans of the race can look forward to in the coming months.
