AI should mean active innovation, right?

The Boston Counselor Team recently received an amazing anti-aesthetic result in one of its recent studies. There has been no increased AI adoption among the first -line workers in recent years.

This stagnant trend “surprised us”, David Martin, CEO and Senior Assistant of Boston Consulting Group, recently manifest At Michael Krigsman’s cxotalk. The reasons for this slowdown in adoption include a lack of explanation of the goals of AI efforts, along with resistance due to fears of job losses.

But digging deeper, “Frontline employees have less use for AI than leaders,” he continued. “You are examining retail store employees and field technicians who are increasingly using it, but there is a lot of work in the ground that takes place where AI is not going to be an important part of technology for the employee to use in their daily lives.”

Looking at the corporate staircase, executives or leaders are also concerned about their own jobs and may resist AI. “There is a lot of increased uncertainty, both on an individual level,” what will happen to my role in the organization? “Apart from the leadership level, ‘How do I create a strategy around this dynamic market?

For many organizations, AI is growing to open existing processes, in relation to more fantastic. “Many companies are now provocative with short -term issues and pressure and inflation and geopolitics,” Martin said. “Many AI uses and the initiatives promoted by companies are overly gradually. It is how to use AI to further automate work or specific sections of a workflow and miss the opportunity to really review work flow.

Increasing thought leads to a growth vision, he added.

Much of a more holistic approach to AI is the redesign of jobs that include cooperation between people and agents AI. “You will see many roles that work side by side with agents in a collaborative manner or enhanced manner, or roles that have to manage agents,” Martin said. “It’s a completely different muscle to build.”

Prepare for more creativity in the roles of workers and executives as a result of AI, predicted. “Creativity will be introduced as part of many jobs that do not require it today. Critical thought due to illusions.

With the agents in the mixture, first -line employees will act as their directors, Martin predicted. “Many of how workers’ interactions will take place are very like a manager and a front -line employee – it’s collaborative, it’s training, it’s a workout.”
