Squid
Squid He’s finished running with a finale of season 3 that served as the second half of the season 2, more or less, the excessively long season covering a single game divided into two.
While there were definitely good times in the season, episode 2, for example, was one of the best in all three seasons Squid; As soon as we got to the end, it was just … not a good finale, and the whole thing felt that it shouldn’t exist, a Netflix product trying to milk the popular series when it should have been a lump sum.
What went wrong? (Followed by spoilers)
The turning point was the baby’s birth. The baby cgi that was, of course,; halfway Decent CGI, but still, a baby CGI who then had to be transferred through the matches as another player, because the stupid Vips thought it would be funny. This mission of Gi-Hun, which was already somewhat neutered after his failed uprising, as he had given up his final goal of getting Frontman and games.
The end here was everywhere. In a period of incredibly bad time, Gi-Hun chooses to jump from the final tower to follow the rules of the game and to save the baby, first a), assuming these crazy exploitation carriers will do anything kind to the baby (who were willing to leave) Prize.

The timetable is poor because just minutes later, the Coast Guard and the Detective arrive to remove the place, which means that if this was not coincidentally near, Gi-Hun would probably be able to escape the baby, if the frontman would hit the button. But the show wanted to take that sacrifice Gi-Hun there, despite the fact that it means almost nothing.
Frontman ends up giving this completely random baby to his brother, along with the baby’s cash, because well, the baby had to go somewhere since the last four episodes were based on him. I am fundamentally okay with Frontman surviving all this, but I can’t believe we had passed all this series without one of these deeply annoying, scary hard Vips to be killed. We waited for the whole series about it, and just … they disappear in the end. I guess they may have dug? We have no idea.
Cate Blanchett Cameo was the cherry on top. I guess the idea here was to throw a recognizable actor in this role as they did from the Korean side, but it was certainly a weird time to see a highly recognizable Western actor in the last moments of the show (the only other Western actors were the heinous Vips). From now on, there is no confirmed American spin-off that is coming, but obviously, this seems like something Netflix would do. Who knows if they could stumble Cate Blanchett in an entire row? But the point is that the games were not over anyway, so all of this was unnecessary and just stayed open for more seasons one day or spin-offs.
I thought the season 3 started strong, but it was finally a blow to the end where everything was confused together and a little meaningful. He also denied the entire bow of the Gi-Hun in a matter of minutes, which was a terrible end of his character. What a nightmare.
