If you missed Saturday’s Nyt Mini puzzle, you can find the answers here:

TowerToday’s NYT mini -crosswords and answers for Saturday, April 12With Eric Caine

Yesterday’s mini -crossword was not minimally tiny. It was by far the biggest and most difficult Saturday mini -crossword I have seen since I have passed these drivers. Today is much smaller, though not without its challenges.

NYT MINI is a smaller, faster, more digestible version of NYT’s largest and most provocative crosswords and, unlike its older brother, is free to play with the New York Times without subscription. You can play it online or in the application, although you will need the app to deal with the file.

Spoilers in front!

Today’s mini

Today’s NYT MINI Crossword theme is basically “nicknames / slang” or what we call things that are not exactly what it is, such as IBM called “Big Blue” or, obviously, pants are referred to as “tror” to a new slang that I have never heard before and never, never, if they never hear. The; Seriously; Who says this and why are they allowed? In any case, this was much easier than yesterday’s mini, though I wasn’t sure of the first few and I had to skip ahead to fill in the gaps. Today’s puzzle got 1:22.

How did you do it? Let me know Twitter; Instagram or Facebook.

If you also play Wordle, I write drivers for that too. You can find these and all the TV guides, my reviews and much more here on my blog. Thanks for reading!
