Meta Smart Glasses Mock-Up

Postpone

Not Secret Meta works in smarter glasses, but the cost and how to reveal the next Ray-Ban Meta watch.

According to ParachuteThe upcoming post -spoiled glasses will start from over $ 1,000 and could cost up to $ 1,400. Post sources say that pricing has not yet been nailed in front of a release potentially earlier this year.

The cost is a huge jump from the $ 329 Meta Wayfarer pair, but there is a steady excuse for increased costs. The post -spoiled glasses, which are currently going under the name Hypernova, will have a screen behind the lenses.

How Meta’s Hypernova Smart Glasses can work

The screen is towards the bottom of the right lens, which means that the person wearing will have to look down to see what appears on it.

This will include notifications from WhatsApp and the Messenger Facebook app. But obviously the plan is not to open its functionality as much as possible. It won’t have an application store, giving it a look at what Meta Hypernova can really do.

Therefore, his jobs will not be so different from those of today’s Ray-Ban post-bastard. You can use these smart Hypernova glasses to take photos and videos, play music and interact with Meta’s assistant.

Of course, the existence of a screen to rest could significantly increase the type of interactions that are feasible compared to today’s Meta Ray-Ban pair.

The idea here is not completely different from a pair of smart glasses announced a lot a decade ago, Google Glass. This couple released in 2013 and used a small headlight that put 640 × 360 image data on top of the user’s vision. Meta apparently chose the bottom-right.

The other difference, with any luck, are Meta’s smart Hypernova glasses will become a couple that people really want to wear. In February, Ray-Ban Essilorluxottica’s manufacturer announced that two million couples have so far been sold-they were released in October 2023.

Meta said it aims to sell 10 million pairs a year by the end of 2026, but a set that costs more than $ 1,000 is unlikely to make a lot of dent in such a figure. However, the company plans to continue to offer cheaper couples.

It will also hit the top-end model in a double-screen design-one for each eye-2027 according to Bloomberg.

These meta smart screen glasses will use capacitations for control, turning the hands of the glasses into touch surfaces, and Meta apparently designs a Ceres bracelet to offer another control method.

The Meta Hypernova smart glasses are separate from the Orion Meta couple officially announced as “the most advanced pair of AR glasses ever made” in September 2024.

This pair seems to display elements to the center of the carrier’s vision, while Hypernova will probably try to make AR elements as close to invisible to anyone other than the user.

For some, the main upgrade of this upcoming pair may be a simple push of the camera, which has been compared to that of a jump between two generations of telephone.
