Not only is it Thor Day, it’s also the last day of November. How crazy is that? We are only one month away from 2023. Somehow, this year has gone by in the blink of an eye. I’m not sure how to feel about this.
It’s also Worlde #894, which means we’re only a few days away from Wordle #900. Then Christmas, then New Years.
Yesterday was Wordle Wednesday and I gave you this logic puzzle:
If all Grumkins are Cloogies, all Blumprots are Dabbledoggers, no Puffpops are Blumprots, and all Cloogies are Blumprots, is it true that all Blumprots are Cloogies?
Answer: No. Just because all Cloogies are Blumprot doesn’t mean all Blumprot are Cloogies, just like all Corgis are dogs, but not all Dogs are Corgi.
Okay, Wordle time!

Bot Wordle Analysis
After each Wordle I solve, I head on the Wordle Bot home page to see how my guessing game was.
I was a bit lucky today, no doubt. I thought primary as an initial guess because I had just written about the upcoming Fallout TV series on Amazon Prime Video (which looks great!) and the word primary seemed like a good initial guess. Sure enough it was, leaving me with only 54 words to choose from.
Instinctively, I was ready to type mature for my next guess, but luckily I caught myself. ‘P’ was already used. However, I was so far away and thought of a word similar to this-resurrected-and dropped it instead. I was very pleased with the result. The answer was obvious – all I had to do was flip the vowels and I got it resin at Guess #3. Huzzah!
Today’s Wordle Racing Score
Like yesterday, I get 1 point for guessing at three and zero for the Bot tie. 1 point is good!
Today’s Wordle etymology
The word “recini” has its origin in the Latin language. It can be traced back to the Latin word “resina”, which referred to a substance obtained from various trees and plants, often used for its adhesive or medicinal properties. The term “resina” itself probably has even older roots in the ancient Greek language, as it is believed to have been borrowed from the Greek word “rhētinē”, which also referred to a similar resinous substance.
Resins typically come from the sap or sap-like substances of various trees and plants and have been used for a variety of purposes throughout human history, including as adhesives, in varnish production, for incense, and in traditional medicine. Over time, the term “resin” has been associated with a wide range of natural and synthetic substances that have similar properties, such as being sticky or having the ability to harden when exposed to air or heat.
