NYT MINI is a smaller, faster, more digestible version of NYT’s largest and most provocative crosswords and, unlike its older brother, is free to play with the New York Times without subscription. You can play it online or in the application, although you will need the app to deal with the file.

Some of them were difficult today because they could be anything. “Give me some ___” could be too many words of five letters to measure, so I skipped it and went down under the row, hitting out mocha and altar quickly and close on skort and hard. The transition to the bottom helped, with smash, polka, actress and chars, more or less filling everything – and finally, space and land. That got me 1:01.
