This new version is a remarkable improvement over the ‘Super Mario 3D All-Stars’ version.

Following the somewhat sluggish Super Mario 3D All-Stars Back in 2020, we now have both Super Mario Galaxy Games for Switch, and they are great.

The best dose of Super Mario 3D All-Stars was definitely the first Super Mario Galaxy. While I still believe that Wii remote controls are better tailored to the game than Joy-Cons, especially with the functionality of the Pointer, the Pro Pad continues to do a great job that covers this with built-in gyros.

This time, although this is a release of switch, I played both games on the Switch 2 with the new Pro controller. The results were extremely all over.

Over Super Mario 3D All-Stars Issue, both games had done a job to clean their corresponding textures, and on the switch 2, the game runs in a butter 60fps in 4K all over.

My only little quibble, and it’s just a mild discomfort, is that I can’t introduce my storage data from Super Mario 3D All-Stars In this new Super Mario Galaxy release. I won’t mind so much, except in the previous version, I made a point collecting all 121 stars again.

As for the games themselves, while being sold as a package, they appear as individual games on the Switch menu.

This is the first time that the “Super Mario Galaxy 2” was again available from its original Wii release in 2010.

I still feel that the global arrangement, the story and the levels in the first game get much better than in the second. When adding Yoshi then it was fun, especially with his reaction to chili consumption (presented above), the world map and many more felt more characteristically for others Super Mario games.

This is obviously a personal preference but I found the first Super Mario Galaxy To be one of the definitive games of the series, not only in terms of its innovative functionality, but also for the design of gravity and mind.

I also liked the level of the node in the first game, and this is also great in this update.

When it comes to these new updates of each game, you also have a soundtrack option in the main menu and a co-op feature to play with friends. Both are fine additions and in combination with subtle but extensive improvements to the textures of the respective games, this is a much better release than the rather telephone Super Mario 3D All-Stars.

Overall, since Super Mario 3D All-Stars It’s hard to come and we haven’t seen a reboot Super Mario Galaxy 2 Since 2010, this package is definitely worth getting. I still prefer the first game for its continuation, but both games are extremely made with a real craft that is very rare these days.
