The NYT Connections Sports Edition Game of the Day airs live at midnight local time. Before we get to today’s Connections Sports Edition Hints and Answers, here’s what you missed on sunday:
Happy Monday, sports fans! Today’s NYT Connections Sports Edition hints and answers for Monday, October 27th are coming soon.
How to play NYT Connections Sports Edition
Connections Sports Edition it’s free every day New York Times game. You get a new puzzle at midnight every day and you can play on NYT website. It works just like normal Connections game, except it’s all about sports.
You are presented with a grid of 16 words. Your goal is to arrange them into four groups of four, identifying the links between them. Groups could be things like teams in a certain city, athletes who won Olympic gold in a certain sport, or pretty much anything else. There may also be puns, so be careful!
There is only one solution to each puzzle, and there are often red herrings. You can also mix up the words. Each group is color coded. The yellow group is usually the easiest to understand, the blue and green fall in the middle, and the purple group is usually the hardest.
If you make a guess and get it wrong, you’ll lose a life. If you’re getting close to creating a proper group, you’ll see a message letting you know that you’re a long way from getting it right. As with me Wordle and similar games, it’s easy to share results with your friends on social media and in group chats.
If you make four mistakes, it’s game over. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen with the help of a few pointers, and if you’re really struggling, today’s NYT Connections Sports Edition answers.
