The code notes for Escape from Tarkov The 0.14.9.5 update is out and they finally add one of the most requested features of all time. the ability to play PvE locally on your PC without having to find an available server.
Ever since the PvE mode started, somewhat controversial Tarkov A few months ago players were asking why they had to connect to a server to play what for many is a single player experience. As each PvE player had to register on a server, it meant that there was a huge load on the server infrastructure, which led to long match times that drove many players away from the game.
However, after today’s update, you’ll be able to play single-player PvE matches locally on your PC without having to connect to a server. This means there will be no match timer and you will be able to get into the game within seconds. The AI has also seen massive improvements in the patch to make the experience even better.
However, there are a few caveats about this new feature. While the experience will be the same as playing online, you won’t be able to run scav raids offline, and surprisingly, you won’t be able to play Streets of Tarkov at all without connecting to a server. Obviously, any Co-op PvE raids will also require a server connection to work.
The Battlestate Games team has warned that there may be some issues that need to be ironed out with this offline PvE mode, but once they are resolved and everything is stable, every player will be able to purchase access to the mode in the form of a microtransaction.
Elsewhere in the 14.9.5 patch notes are some other highly requested features. Added a wishlist, which lets you specify items to find in raids, and you’ll get a pop-up notification when you loot one, so forgetting what you need to upgrade your hideout should be a thing of the past.
There’s also the addition of a community poll feature, which developers will use to ask players about what they want to see Tarkov. This will give them better feedback than using social networking sites as they have done in the past, as a wider base of players should see the questions.
The patch also introduces three new questlines Escape from Tarkov. The Nostalgia quest line is exclusive to Edge of Darkness Edition owners, while other lines have been added to PvE to unlock the Mark of The Unheard item and another across all editions that will give players the chance to unlock expanded PMC pocket sizes , which Unheard Edition owners get for free.
Rounding the patch notes that’s a lot of balancing changes and bug fixes that need to be done Tarkov much more fun to play in the coming weeks. Considering a new wipe is about a month away, it’s a little strange to get such a big patch now, but it’s not a bad thing by any means!
