Saber Interactive, Nightdive Studios, Headup Games

My average viewing time for the year increased dramatically in Gamescom 2025. It was expected, as I was there to play video games all day, everyday. However, when you play so many successive, not everyone is just blurred in one?

Not in the case of these eight games below. From the Wild West to the depths of hell, here are the games from Gamescom 2025 that I can’t stop thinking.

Outlaws + handful Shipments: Remaster

Available in: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC

Release Date: 20 November 2025

Few developers have made more to preserve the history of video games in recent years by Nightdive Studios. The Washington -based team has remodelled the sympathetic Dark Star Wars forces and SYSTEM SYSTEM 2; The next on his production line is another classic first -person shooter originally published by Lucasarts.

1997’s Scam He is in the Wild West, where we play as a retired commander called James Anderson who begins a search for revenge. As happened with Dark forces, This remaster It has amazing new cuts and graphics that are rich in color, as well as online ways for many players, such as Deathmatch and flag.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection

Available in: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 1/2, PC

Release Date: TBC 2025

Upcoming Atari Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection It is more like a virtual museum than a traditional set of old toys. Included over three hours of documentary video records the history of the controversial battle franchise, 90 minutes of archival materials, original artwork done by Mortal Kombat’s Co-creator, John Tobias, as well as a beam of Vintage notes and ads to read.

It’s not soon in games. There are 23 in total with each one with different variants of a label console. The fourth game of the series has been assimilated for the first time and is included here in parallel with compatriots Mortal Kombat 1-3 and Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance.

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Renaissance

Available in: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC

Release Date: TBC 2025/2026

I doubt someone in Gamescom was pretty prepared for what Hellraiser: Renaissance The demo threw them. It opened with an explicit sexual scene that includes self-esteem and of course the lamentation of the lament, a gold puzzle box that looks both in the series and in the original novels of the Clive Barker that has the power to invite Pinhead and its full Cenobites crew.

After the creatures appear, we allow to run (Stark Naked) through the maze walls of hell, as the main Aiden protagonist, before being infected by a worship of worship in the real world. The demo then proceeded to an action wave that includes the battle and the gun of the visceral battle. Hellraiser: Renaissance It will be a lot in the stomach when it comes out, but it is formed to be an unforgettable (or mental scars) game of horror.

Super Meat Boy 3D

Available in: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC

Release Date: TBC at the beginning of 2026

Dropping Meat Boy in a 3D world adds a brand new mattress to a series of platform that was already quite difficult to start. Super Meat Boy 3D It is reminiscent of its 2D predecessors – the light block of flesh routes through a series of more curious levels to rescue a girl from evil Dr Fetus.

In addition to running and jumping through the complex (and sadistic) puzzles, you need to face a different range of motion beyond just down, left and right. Meat Boy can now move forward and backwards, as there is your perception of depth to deal with when jumping on all protrusions. Hard as it could be, this new repetition was a Romp in Gamescom.

John Carpenter’s toxic Commando

Available in: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC

Release Date: TBC at the beginning of 2026

Film director John Carpenter 31 October and The thing The rumor hit the movie on the head several years ago – now it is just hanging by playing video games and watching basketball. Toxic commander It is exactly the type of game I portray him playing in his retirement.

Is a stained co-op shooter in his vein Left 4 dead Filled with wonderful cracking punk gore and over-the-top action. I played a demo alongside three other players, where we were intended to score several goals while running around a huge forest. You can steal cars to spend faster, collect tons of different weapons, and of course take part in violent shots against the zombie hordes.

Revitalization

Available in: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC

Release Date: TBC 2026

Made by the group behind the first two Small nightmares games, Revitalization It is a worrying cooperative horror adventure that is in a surreal world. It’s somewhere between a Tim Burton and David Lynch movie.

Two players take on the roles of a brother and a sister looking for their missing friends on an island inhabited by some rather annoying monsters. By working at the same time, you need to solve puzzles and survive with these creatures in the minimalist but provocative game of the game.

Nutmeg!

Secret mode, Sumo Sheffield

Available in: Computer

Release Date: TBC 2026

Part of a football management simulator, part of the deck of deck card game, Nutmeg! It has been put in the 1980s and 90s (so you expect tons of controversial facial hair) and is inspired by the art of collecting football sticker stickers, something that every greedy fan in Britain did as a child.

Become the manager of a fourth division football team that has been tasked with rising championships. The responsibilities include the management of press conferences, negotiating transfers and of course the winnings they win. This is where Nutmeg! differs from other sports sims – Your success in each race is determined through a set of cards. Playing one at the right time will affect the success rate of a race or a shot on the goal, for example. Is the Balatrome and Director Fasten anyone who did not see coming.

SCOTT PILGRIM EX

Available in: PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S/One, Nintendo Switch 1/2, PC

Release Date: TBC 2026

SCOTT PILGRIM EX It’s the first game based on Canadian writer Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Comic Book Series from 2010’s Scott Pilgrim vs. the world: the game. Just like this title, this new game (made by tribute games, the studio behind 2022 of the excellent TMNT: Shredder revenge) It’s also a Bonkers Side-Scolling Beat ‘Em up, but this time, you can explore an extensive version of Toronto.

The city has been taken over by a beam of bad gangs, so Nerdy Scott Pilgrim and his friends, including Ramona Flowers and Lucas Lee, come to the rescue. The combustion is heavy and the combos is satisfactory to pull away, as well as the rich works of art pops greatly throughout the screen.
