According to a report in HemambianThings will be different later this year. Such a delay with a UI 7 could have a phenomenon of UI 8, you might have thought. But maybe not: “Many reports have claimed that Samsung plans to release it much faster than a UI 7 and that it can even start its folding flagships in the second half of the year with an UI 8 -set on Android 16 -Preleaded”, the report said, confirming these other references.
The timetable is that Google’s plan could be the release of Android 16 in June or July 2025.
There were already three Android 16 betas and we’ll see more on Google I/O next month and there are reports that Google is working on one Release Release Program.
If everything goes according to the plan, this could fit for new folders. Last year, Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 were announced on July 10, 2024, although this schedule is also likely to be caused by the Olympics. In 2023, the announcement came a little later, last week of July.
The next phones to get Android 16 would be the latest flagship, namely the Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra – Is believed Samsung is already testing the UI for these three phones.
If the 2025 folding phones have a pre-installed Android 16, they could also beat the Google Pixel 10 series in the fist, which has not happened before-even this could be challenged this new report.
