It’s the day after the fourth of July, so you may be still full of hot dogs, but you have to wake up and refresh your brain after a potentially big night with some connections.
How to play connections
Connections are the second popular puzzle game nyt games outside the main crossword and an extremely fun, free offer that will carry your brain every day. Play here.
The goal is to get a 16 -word group and find links between four pairs of four of them. They could be specific categories of terms or could be a small puzzle puzzles where words can come before or after them you have to understand. And they become more complicated than there.
There is only one set of the right answers for this, and you only get a certain number of attempts so you can’t just spam around until you find something. There are difficulties encoded by color, which will usually go from yellow, blue/green to purple, as the difficulty increases, so you know that they enter and when you start connecting them together.
You can choose the four words you think are connected and you will either get a resolution and a lighted order that shows you how you connected. If you are close, it will tell you that you are a long one. Again, four mistakes you lose, but if you want to know the answers without failing, either coming here, or deleting your cookies on the internet and try again. If you want to play more puzzles, you can get a NYT Games subscription to access the full files of all the puzzles of the past. Thus, in the tips and answers:

- Yellow Group – Con Game

- Purple Group – List Types
What are the current answers?
The full answers are below for each group, finally entering the four words in each category. Followed by spoilers If you don’t want to get so far away. The connections are:
- Yellow Group – Con Game (hustle, racket, Scheme, Sting)
- Green Group – Combine, as baking ingredients (stroke, mixture, fold, mix)
- Blue Group – Chronic (Burning, Itching, Long, Pine)
- Purple Group – List (Bucket, Laundry, Short, Do -Do)
The yellow team here used a word that I thought could be a tennis, racket, as I thought you might be able to combine it with bucket for balls you hit. This was difficult because I don’t connect a sting by being con, though I guess it’s technically a kind of police con. A kind of curious taxonomic.
Green Group Beings The tricket that we thought would be a series of laundry, as you can win and fold for different stages of the cleaning process. Fold is probably the most difficult word in this list, but I keep thinking about the episode of the creek Schitt, where they talk about “folding cheese”.
I thought the Blue Group can be the most difficult today. These are all based on love, minus itching, as I mean, does anyone ever say that itching for you? I don’t think so. Burn and Pine could be forrest fire, but I see how they combine here now. This was difficult.
The Purple Group is of course quite difficult. I think the obligation was a big indication of achieving the listing of the list, but once again, the washing machine was there trying to travel us in other words. The list of buckets and the short list are very meaningful, obviously, so it was not so difficult to place here.
How did you do it today? Harder or easier this time?
