After Samsung has released the Galaxy S25 Edge and Apple started the iPhone Air, Motorola places its tent on over-minute telephone ground with Edge 70. It’s not yet outside, but already turns its heads.
We are thinking of measuring 5.8mm from front to back – the same as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and fractionals more than the iPhone Air – the phone offers a new battery technology.
According to Polish Motorola websiteas identified by 9to5GOOGLEThe new phone will have “a powerful and incredibly lightweight silicon-carrot battery with a capacity of 4,800mAh,” he says (in machine translations).
This is interesting because many believed that silicon coal would be the material used for the air of the iPhone, as advanced and more efficient energy rates can help the battery of a phone to last longer. This is crucial for a phone this minute.
The answer to the iPhone air is that its battery is doing well, so the traditional lithium ion cell is up to the tobacco, it seems. This is even if it is a small battery, just 3,149mAh.
And, as you will have seen above, the Motorola battery is much larger. In fact, its property is more than half as Apple, dating to 4,800mAh.
It is also significantly higher than the 3.900mAh Samsung battery placed on the S25 Galaxy edge.
The iPhone air is undoubtedly the first minute phone where the battery life is good enough to get a lifetime the whole day from it. Will Motorola be the first to slip more than a whole day without a problem?
Other details are listed on the Motorola website, though it is not clear how definitive or final they are. The pricing, calculated between € 799 and € 899 ($ 927- $ 1,044) seems competitive and there are tips that the new phone will have decent entry protection.
The new phone is considered to be released on November 5, the less than a month from now.
