WWE’s first premium live event in Italy is scheduled for May 31st. The first pieces of the card are already starting to come together. The crowd will be electric for this event. There’s nothing like the energy in an arena in a country town that can’t see a ton of live WWE shows. Because of this, WWE will likely pull out all the stops to make sure the event is a big one.
Let’s break down everything we know about the historic event along with some predictions for the card.

When and where is WWE Clash in Italy?
The clash in Italy is set for Sunday 31 May 2026 at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, with 19:30 local start time listed on WWE’s official event page. The show features WWE’s 2026 European Summer Tour, which also goes through Spain, France, Portugal and the United Kingdom — and the June 1 episode of Raw will be broadcast from the same Inalpi Arena the night after PLE.
How can you watch WWE Clash in Italy?
Clash in Italy is shown as a traditional pay-per-view worldwide, with regional streaming partners covering the major markets. In the US, the event is broadcast on ESPN. Most international markets pass it Netflixwhile Sub-Saharan Africa runs through SuperSport and Japan through Abema.
This broadcast spread mirrors WWE’s broader 2026 streaming arrangement, with Backlash 2026 following the same ESPN domestic, Netflix international standard. Expect a pre-show on the usual platforms before the main card begins.
Who is promoting WWE Clash in Italy?
WWE has named several Superstars as promoters for the event, even if the official match card has not yet been released. Names being promoted include WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, GUNTHER, Randy Orton, Oba Femi, Seth Rollins and Trick Williams — all with the standard “and more” caveat.
This is an advertised talent list, not a locked card. WWE’s booking team will use the next two episodes of Raw and SmackDown to set up the actual matches, and the update to the Clash in Italy card coming out of weekly TV is when specific matchups will begin to move from speculation to official.
What should fans expect from the Clash in Italy card?
Based on who is promoted, there are likely to be several titles in play — the WWE Undisputed Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, World Women’s Championship, WWE Women’s Championship and US Championship.
The challenge for WWE creative is fitting so many champions into a PLE while still leaving enough card real estate for the European tour’s storytelling paces. That’s especially true when the live premium Night of Champions event is already set to have each titleholder defend their belt — at least that’s how it used to be.
Title implications aside, expect WWE to lean into the historic nature of the night. A first PLE in a major European market usually gets a promotional segment and at least one homecoming moment for talent with local ties.
The exact matches remain in the preview column until WWE makes them official, but Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIV card on May 23 will be the final domestic show before the company goes into European tour mode.
