A new six-woman tag match was added to the May 23 Saturday Night Main Event card. After another match between Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, the latter two team up with Rhea Ripley to take on the former group.
This is the new match that was made official on SmackDown, and with that, we have three matches locked in, and one more is likely to be added on Monday Night Raw.

What is Full Saturday Night’s Main Event Card XLIV so far?
Three matches are now locked in for SNME XLIV in Fort Wayne. Logan Paul and Austin Theory will defend the World Tag Team Championship against The Street Profits and Penta defends the Intercontinental Championship against Ethan Page in what will be his seventh title defense.
The new six-woman tag team is the third confirmed match and gives SmackDown its first spot on the card. Both title matches were added from Monday Night Raw on May 11, so the remainder of the brand now sits at two Raw matches and one SmackDown match with 10 days of television remaining.
How did The Six-Woman Tag come about?
The match was set up on the May 8 SmackDown when Cargill returned and cost Ripley, Bliss and Flair the six-woman tag against Fatal Influence. After the bell, Cargill, B-Fab and Michin hit the ring and laid down all three women, standing to close the section.
WWE then made the rematch official on this week’s SmackDown, calling it the immediate payoff to that beatdown. Fatal Influence and the Cargill trio have been two parallel SmackDown storylines feeding the same talent pool since Jacy Jayne’s main roster call-up sparked the Ripley feud, and this six-woman tag team pulls both strings on the same card.
What does this match mean for the women’s title picture?
Ripley is still the WWE Women’s Champion after winning the title from Cargill at WrestleMania 42, and Cargill will get her rematch at Clash of Italy on May 31. A pin on Ripley in a tag setup would have Cargill thinking they’ll regain the title here. However, and I think this is more likely, an intervention from Fatal Influence makes everything a blur. It also boosts FI’s impact on the main roster, while not giving Cargill or Ripley the lead for the Clash in Italy.
The SNME acts as the heat building step that decides what stipulation or extra wrinkle the title rematch carries in Turin.
What should fans expect on the road to SNME XLIV?
There are two nights of television left before SNME XLIV and that is Raw on May 18th and SmackDown on May 22nd. Typically, WWE finalizes these cards with one more match in that window.
The most likely addition is a Raw-side match to balance out the brand split, with the Seth Rollins–Bron Breaker storyline and the Trick Williams US Title program both in obvious slots.
The current structure of the card suggests that a four-fight televised series is the goal, which fits the historical pattern of SNME under revival. I’ll be watching the May 18 Raw closely for the fourth match and whether WWE uses SmackDown’s go-home show to add stipulations to the six-woman tag.
